One pet peeve that I have is laziness. I hate laziness. My boyfriend for example is too lazy to throw something away or put a dish in the sink. Yesterday for lunch I made a tuna sandwich and put the rest in the fridge for a sandwich today. Last night he gets in the fridge and gets the tuna and makes a sandwich out of it. What does he do? Well, instead of using the rest of it he leaves a spoonful in the bowl and puts it back in the fridge without even covering it back up. So today I had to throw it away b/c it was nasty. Well the other day I bought a loaf of bread cause the other loaf is almost empty. What does he do? Well, instead of using the last two pieces of the first loaf and throwing it away, he opens up the new loaf. I just sent the worst email to him at work. I told him how ridiculous this is and that I am sick of him acting like a 5 year old instead of a 28 year old. Are all men like this? I mean seriouslly, how ridiculous is this? When he makes kool-aide and finishes it off, instead of putting the pitcher in the sink he puts it back in the fridge empty and I'm the one who has to take it out and put it in the sink. I have been telling him this for so long but he keeps doing it. What am I supposed to do?
:( wish i could say they outgrow it hun but the truth is..... they
never do *doh*. wait till he throws his sock at the hamper and they
land next to it....... it never gets picked up :|... my
advise......shoot him now and save yourself the grief ;)
Man, am I glad you wrote this! I was gonna blog about sloth and laziness this very day.
My sister, love her to death, good kid, but man she is LAZY. She's living with me under the rule that, she cleans up, and pays the cable bill. Not bad for a 19 year old college kid. Now the dishes are piling up in the sink, nothing is cleaned up. She doesn't excercise or anything, just parks her ass on the futon like the minute she gets home and stays there. She can be found on said futon all day saturday and sunday. Monday I came home and she was already home. I was like "why are you here?" she said she was sick, but she just sat on MY computer and blabbed all night to her queer little friends. WTF! Go outside and rake the fucking lawn or something! Jesus! Like I'm no fitness guru, but I can't see how someone can just hang around inside all fucking day! GAHHHHH
I am having the same problem with my 30 yr old b/f, he acts like a child, he doesn't clean up after himself, he hasn't paid rent in two months, he uses my phone to try to get a job because he can't afford his own phone, grr and than he thinks he deserves to be rewarded like I owe him something. Perfect example this morning he wakes me up for work and says "I walked the dog" well whoopty fucking do!! Do you want a medal. The more I blog I am realizing the only reward he deserves is to be thrown out on his ass and see if he can fend for himself.
To the first comment the sad thing is is that he already leaves his socks all over the place and even worse he doesn't even try to put them in the hamper...he leaves them in the bedroom, the bathroom, the computer room, and the living room, and trust me I do want to shoot him. lol
To the second comment, my boyfriend is the exact same way, he works through the wk, comes home at night and gets on the computer and plays euchre but even worse "I'm thirst, I'm hungry, hon, can you bring me something up" is all I hear all night long, I used to be nice and do things for him but now I tell him to get his lazy ass off the computer and get the stuff himself. On the wknds he lays around and doesn't do anything. When I met him he was living with his mom and was fit as can be but ever since march when he moved into this place he has eaten so much that he has gained so much weight its disgusting, I'm not perfect but I know the limits, he has a sit down job and comes home and sits down, I am up and moving all day cleaning the same things, and I try to excercise b/c I don't work. He tells me all the time that it doesn't hurt for me to clean and do stuff for him b/c I don't work. But, I help pay the bills, buy groceries, clean the house, wash the clothes, and cook. I try my best to help out. I always have to throw back at him that he's the one that doesn't want me to work. Grrrrrr!
